At CLASP, Fall Means Apples

During the week of parent-teacher conferences, CLASP students welcomed the Fall season by tasting apples, voting for their favorites, and making and eating apple-themed crafts and snacks.

Carol–Lee Marshall is pictured with students reading Johnny Appleseed to them, and graphing the results of their votes for their favorites – red, yellow, or green apples. Since there were actually no yellow apples available, Gala apples – which are striated yellow and red – were used as the yellow ones. The graph shows that they, indeed, turned out to be the favorite.

Students are pictured with their apple-themed crafts. A variety of apple snacks were prepared and eaten by the the students.
